Rugged displays

Barco offers a complete series of rugged display solutions, ranging from 12in to 28in, with a variety of electronic, optical, environmental and video processing features and options. Flexible designs allow easy adaptations for custom requirements. Barco's display solutions have been proven in surface ship and submarine applications worldwide.

Barco's latest family of thin and lightweight displays sets the industry standard for rugged displays. They have been designed from the ground up to be extremely rugged, low weight and reduced in dimension.

Rugged large displays for collaborative visualization

Barco has developed 40in and 65in rugged displays for collaborative review and decision-making in combat information centres, bridges and other shipboard locations. Barco's large-screen displays are network-capable and feature integrated computing modules to display any and all data, including video over IP. The large displays can be mounted on any shipboard bulkhead location and will accept analogue, digital and Internet protocol signals.

Naval consoles

The modular, user-configurable VISTA console family offers fully functional, ergonomic workstations and consoles for the most demanding command and control applications. They feature a wealth of configuration options and their extreme flexibility allows for customisation to your specific user-interfacing needs and required functionalities, while keeping costs to a minimum.

Rugged workstations

Barco's family of modular rugged display stations combines a state-of-the-art display processing module with a full range of rugged displays already developed and proven in military applications worldwide. Barco's second-generation processing module delivers the latest in graphics and computing performance, all integrated into a compact, fully rugged and network ready workstation.

The MicroVista option provides integrated input devices and peripherals in a single stowable unit. It is available in desktop or bulkhead configurations.

Radar and video distribution over the network

Barco's advanced video solutions connect directly to the ship's sensors and process image data in near real-time to ensure that what you see is accurate and reliable. Furthermore, Barco supplies high-performance, low-latency solutions for networked distribution and display of radar information. Barco's client / server subsystems are capable of processing multiple radar videos, distributing the data over a standard network and presenting it on user-friendly COTS consoles and workstations.
