Palantir has been contracted to support the US Navy’s Naval Operational Business Logistics Enterprise (NOBLE) family of systems (FoS).
Under the contract, Palantir will provide the US Navy with its commercial software. This software will serve as NOBLE’s Integrated Data Environment (IDE).
The modern IDE open architecture will support capabilities such as data ingestion, integration, management and analytics for navy’s ashore and afloat supply and operational maintenance communities.
The current phase of the production work will involve interoperability of Palantir IDE with multiple commercial software programmes of record (PoR).
NOBLE’s FoS includes Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS), Naval Aviation Maintenance System (NAMS), and Naval Operational Maintenance Environment (NOME).
The contract has been awarded to Palantir following a six-month initial competitive prototyping phase. Under this phase, the company used real data and cases to provide monthly, live capabilities demonstrations.
