The Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN) HMAS Armidale has undocked in Cairns after completing a servicing and restoration project.
The project, which was conducted at the Norship’s shipyards, invested over A$5m ($3.4m) into the local economy and supported around 100 local jobs.
This is the first of many major maintenance projects coming up over the next two years.
