Jacobs has been contracted to provide waterfront facilities inspection and assessment services outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS).
The contract has been awarded by the Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC).

Services under the ‘indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract’ will be provided for five years.

Under the contract, Jacobs will be responsible for field investigations, as well as underwater inspections, waterfront and ocean facility structural engineering analysis, mechanical and electrical systems, and facility repairs design.
Jacobs’ scope of services also includes environmental studies to gain approval from the federal, state and local regulatory authorities.

Jacobs boasts a team of ‘engineer-divers’ that are commercially trained to conduct high quality underwater inspections and assessments.
In March last year, the US NAVFAC Atlantic awarded Jacobs a potential eight-year, $418.9m contract for intelligent asset management.
