Eco Wave Power Global has signed a partnership agreement with the Procurement Administration in the Israeli Ministry of Defense (MOD) for the Israeli Navy.
Under the agreement, Eco Wave Power Global will study the viability of installing its technology at the Israeli Navy’s bases.
The company will immediately start the procurement and deployment of wave measuring systems to gather extended wave data from at least one to three potential locations at the naval bases.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Navy will secure all the required permits for deploying the wave measuring equipment.
A specialised diving team of the Israeli Navy will install the measurement equipment in the territorial waters of the bases.
After the measurement period, the company will share the gathered information with the navy.

Following this, Eco Wave Power and the Israeli Navy will jointly evaluate the results and create energy production forecasts based on the analysis conducted.

After finding the best locations for the installation and ensuring the technology is suitable, the Israeli Navy and Eco Wave Power will consider the potential deployment of the technology for the production of clean electricity for Israeli Navy bases.
