The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 15.71% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.83% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.39% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 36.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s aerospace, defence & security industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
European Space Agency posted 60 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Airbus with 51 jobs and a 13.33% growth. Thales with 31 IT jobs and Naval Group with 14 jobs, recorded a 3.33% growth and a 41.67% decrease, respectively, while Safran recorded a decline of 73.68% with 5 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.46%, up by 4.9% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 29.19% share, registered an increase of 193.75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 3.73% share, up 50% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.62%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
