By GlobalDataThe RD-33MK features a FADEC-type engine control system, which helps increase the engine’s service life considerably.
The fighter engine facilitates low specific fuel consumption and high gas flow stability in all operational modes to help enhance control of the aircraft, including when firing the on board weapons.
FADEC-type engines also enable the jet fighters to take off safely from the aircraft carrier deck and carry out combat missions efficiently, even in hot climates.
The RD-33MK engine includes a modular design that facilitates the repairing and replacing of individual parts, units and modules in the field.
