Comtech EF Data Corporation has been awarded a $19.1m contract to provide support to the US Navy for the advanced time division multiple access (TDMA) interface processor (ATIP) terminals.
The ATIP terminals are deployed on naval platforms within the Navy Multiband Terminal.
The deal was awarded by the US Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command and has a five-year base period, as well as an additional five-year extension option.
General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation has received an $11.36m contract modification to produce large vertical array (LVA) fixtures for the shipsets of Ohio-class and Virginia-class nuclear-powered submarines.

Ocean2020, a consortium led by Leonardo, has been awarded a €36m ($44m) deal for a military research project that aims to strengthen situational awareness for naval forces.
The consortium is set to conduct complex simulations and two live demonstrations to exhibit maritime surveillance and interdiction missions over the next two years as part of the agreement.
The research and development project will be funded by the EU’s new European Defense Fund.
