Raytheon Missile Systems has secured a $64.4m contract to upgrade the MK-31 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) guided missile weapon system for the US, German and Egyptian navies.
The contract was awarded by the US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and includes the supply of a design agent, as well as engineering support services in order to ensure the maintenance of the current weapon systems.

CACI International will perform the full lifecycle development, prototyping, fabrication and fielding of interoperable systems and solutions to support the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s (NAWCAD) Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) division under the arrangement.
The solutions are intended to help the global exchange of communications and knowledge across the US Department of Defense (DoD) and other agencies in emergency situations.
The US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has awarded a $10.83m delivery order to Insitu Inc for the provision of ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems.
Insitu will deliver 27 ScanEagle air systems, 37 payloads and associated spare parts for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as part of the deal.
The contractual work will be performed in Bingen, Washington, until December 2019.
