US-based information technology services provider CSRA has won a SeaPort-e task order to continue providing support to the US Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Program Executive Officer (PEO) Aircraft Carriers.
Under the $61m task order, the company will provide an entire range of acquisition programme support services to PEO Aircraft Carriers and its PMS 312, PMS 378, and PMS 379 Program Offices.
The support provided by CSRA will encompass all phases of the acquisition lifecycle and defence acquisition management framework, as PEO Aircraft Carriers programmes are currently in different stages of the acquisition process.
The task order has a performance period of five years.
CSRA Defence Group head and executive vice-president Ken Deutsch said: "By extending our agreement, we are reinforcing CSRA's commitment to providing our NAVSEA customers with innovative, forward-thinking support and expertise."
PEO Aircraft Carriers is responsible for the total lifecycle management of the US Navy's fleet of 11 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.
