Harris Corporation has been awarded a contract worth roughly $133m to supply electronic jammers for F/A-18 Hornet and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter aircraft operated by the US and Australian navies.
The company will supply ALQ-214(V)4/5 Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) jammers for the navies’ F/A-18C / D / E / F class aircraft under the deal.
The jammers are designed to protect the fighter aircraft against electronic threats and are scheduled to be delivered by May 2020.
ERAPSCO has been awarded a $219.76m contract modification to provide up to 166,500 signal underwater sound-series sonobuoys to the US Navy by October 2020.
The contract was awarded by the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and will see ERPSCO supply AN/SSQ 36, AN/SSQ-53, AN/SSQ-62, AN/SSQ-101, AN/SSQ-125 and MK-84 sonobuoys.
The Boeing Company has secured a deal to provide retrofit non-recurring and recurring supplies and services for the Government of Kuwait’s F/A-18 Hornet C and D model aircraft until January 2021.

The company will offer airborne electronic attack system enhancements for the AN/ALQ-218(V) 2 receiver under the arrangement.
The contract, has been awarded by the US Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division and is scheduled to be completed in July 2019.
