The aircraft is due to be deployed to the USMC Air Station Miramar in California, US.

A member of the C-130J Super Hercules aircraft family, the KC-130J is battle-tested and will deliver fuel to platforms ranging from helicopters to multirole fighter jets.

The 90ft aerial refueler is based on proven tanker designs and features technical advances and performance aspects derived from the basic C-130J aircraft. With four engines, it can be used to perform a range of operations, such delivering in battle zones, providing battlefield illumination, carrying ground troops, and performing Medevac operations.
