Orbit Communications Systems has delivered an OceanTRx 4 Mil satellite communications system to the Israeli Navy.
The military satellite communications system will be installed on the navy’s Saar 6-class corvette.

The system, used by several naval forces, supports multiple configurations of 1.15m diameter antenna systems.
According to the company website, Orbit’s OceanTRx 4 Mil is designed for fast installation and requires simple updates and minimal maintenance.
It also supports worldwide connectivity over GEO, MEO and LEO satellites, and optional single or dual-band simultaneous operation.
