Rohde & Schwarz has received a contract to equip the Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) frigates of the Royal Netherlands Navy and Belgian Navy with its NAVICS integrated communications system (ICS).
The Dutch Materiel and IT Command (COMMIT) of the Dutch Ministry of Defence has awarded the contract.

NAVICS offers 24/7 freedom of movement throughout the ship with its wireless communications system (WCS).
This technology features smartphone-like ATEX wireless handhelds, enabling high-quality voice communications on the move.
The integrated communications system (ICS) is designed to facilitate both external and internal communications across various security domains.
