US-based technology firm CACI International has secured a place on the US Navy’s Cyber Mission Engineering indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
The multiple-award contract has a shared ceiling value of $898m, with the potential to increase to $962m if all options are exercised.

“We remain committed to growing all our capabilities to support our Defense Department customers and improve mission readiness across all warfighting domains – land, sea, air, space, cyber, and the electromagnetic spectrum.”
Under the US Navy’s Cyber Mission Engineering contract, CACI will provide cyber engineering and electronic warfare solutions to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic.
The contract has a five-year base ordering period and includes provision for one two-year option and one six-month option-to-extend services.

The work also involves technical support for cybersecurity, electronic warfare, command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, information operations, enterprise IT, and space capabilities.
The NIWC, which is located in Charleston, South Carolina, supports information warfighting capabilities for the country’s naval, joint, coalition and other missions.
CACI has been working with the US Navy for several years and has recently secured a number of US Navy contracts.
In September 2018 for example, CACI won a place on a separate IDIQ contract to provide services in support of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations manpower, personnel, training and education organisation.
The company was also awarded a contract in August 2018 to support the US Navy in the deployment of counter-unmanned aerial systems platforms.
Last month, Leidos secured a $962m award from the Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center for the provision of engineering and information warfare services for cyber missions.
