MF-STAR is the first fully digital operational naval active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar capable of performing various missions that include multiple target tracking and identification and defence munitions guidance.
The radar provides a 360° defence against a wide range of airborne platforms and munitions and is designed for new generation military ships, including small frigates or corvettes, according to the Pakistan Observer.
India and Israel have also agreed to enhance cooperation for sharing of UAV technology, submarine-launched cruise missiles, anti-ballistic missile systems to network-centric operations and third-generation night-vision devices.
