The Lebanese Navy has awarded a contract to Nexter Systems to provide six type 15A naval gun mounts for the navy’s light patrol boats.

The ultra-lightweight type 15A naval gun mount combines remarkable efficiency and easy integration and operation.

The M621 20mm gun mount weighs 167kg and fires at a rate of 800 rounds a minute. The naval gun can house 100 medium-calibre rounds.

Nexter has developed a range of medium-calibre guns including 15A and 15B ultra-light manual mounts that are designed to meet self-defence requirements while fighting enemy vessels.
