The Royal Malaysian Navy has successfully test fired an MM-38 Exocet anti-ship missile from KD Gempita in the Straits of Melaka.

The missile test firing is part of the Operational Sea Training Exercise, which involved six RMN vessels and a Nuri helicopter.

The Exocet anti-ship missile is Swedish-manufactured and hit its intended target.
