Mikros Systems Corporation has been awarded a $225,000 contract to provide engineering and development of distance support applications for US Navy radars for the Common Digital Sensor Architecture (CDSA) programme.

The company will provide engineering and technical support tasks relating to the advancement of Distance Support capabilities for the CDSA programme to develop a common interface design for radar systems to automate support processes.

The distance support applications improve the quality, quantity and compatibility of collected field data and enhance the navy’s capability to collect, process and transfer off-ship all crucial data.

The contract was awarded by the integrated services, support and defence products supplier DRS C3 Systems.
