The US Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) has awarded a $697.03m five-year contract to Northrop Grumman Systems to provide system upgrades for the EA-6B and EA-18G aircraft systems.
The contract includes system upgrades for the EA-18G system configuration sets and airborne electronic attack and electronic warfare systems, as well as final upgrades for the EA-6B system.

The US Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has awarded a $152.25m contract to Dyncorp International for material and logistics support services.
Dyncorp will also provide depot level maintenance for 118 TH-57 aircraft.
Works will be performed in Milton, Florida, US, until November 2022.
The US Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a $136.99m modification contract to Boeing for the maintenance, repairs and overhaul of CFM56-7B27A/3 and CFM56-7B27AE engines.
The company will also perform depot maintenance and field assessment for the engines and provide technical assistance for the replacement and removal of engines on P-8A Poseidon maritime surveillance aircraft.
Work will be performed in Georgia and Washington until October 2019.
The Indian Government has signed a $950m contract with Russia to purchase two frigates equipped with BrahMos missiles.
Indian Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) has approved the deal to buy four frigates from Russia for $2bn.
Talwar-class frigates will be fitted with BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles. Construction of the frigates is in progress at the Yantar Shipyard in Kaliningard, Russia. The first two frigates are expected to be delivered from Russia by 2022, while the remaining two will be built in India.
The US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded a $136.75m contract to General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Co to provide engineering support for the Expeditionary Sea Base 6.
General Dynamics will also provide long lead-time material, pre-production support for the Sea Base 6 under the contract.
The contract enables procurement of various components under purchase specifications such as integrated bridge electronics, main diesel generator engines, centrifugal pumps, propeller and shafting.
Works will be performed in San Diego, Beloit, Pittsburgh, various cities in Alabama and Iowa, Chula Vista, Chesapeake, Iron Mountain, and Busan, as well as other locations until May 2019.
