The contract has a potential value of $119m and is valid for one year. It also has four one-year extension options.
Oceaneering will collaborate with the Undersea Rescue Command, which is based at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, California, for the maintenance, certification and operation of the submarine rescue systems and related equipment.

Oceaneering has worked with the US Navy for its Submarine Rescue programme for over 20 years and provides engineering efforts and capability enhancements.
