BAE Systems has been awarded a $192.68m-worth US Navy contract for work on the USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) and USS Michael Monsoor (DDG-1001) guided missile destroyer warships.
The contractual work, which includes post-delivery availability, post shakedown availability, installation of combat equipment, and mission systems activation, will be performed at BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair through September 2021.

MBDA has secured a $123.8m-worth contract from the UK Ministry of Defence to manufacture Sea Ceptor air defence system.
The Sea Ceptor weapon system produced under the contract will arm the Royal Navy’s Type 26 global combat ship.
MBDA will also manufacture electronics for eight Type 26 frigates, under the contract.
JF Taylor has been selected to provide engineering, project management and technical services for the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), through January 2020.
The contract worth $75.39m will support the NAWCAD’s Battlespace Modeling and Simulation (BMS) and Integrated Combat Environment (ICE) divisions.
