JDR Cable Systems BV is strengthening it’s strategic position, working simultaneously on a new production facility in the region Rotterdam, The Netherlands and a service/test facility in Tianjin (near Beijing), P.R. of China.
A brand new purpose built factory in the Rotterdam district will be available for move-in first quarter of 2007. This way JDR’s Smart Solutions division will more than triple it’s current capacity up to 100 M Euro and provide opportunities to develop production capabilities that will meet or exceed the ever more demanding needs in products for the seismic and defence industries.
Concurrent investments are being made in new production machinery and extensive upgrades to existing equipment to provide further improvements to quality, efficiency and delivery times.
At the same time JDR is currently setting up it’s subdivision in Tianjin (Beijing area), in order to provide Service activities, such as termination assembly/repair and testing cable system applications.
The Service Center China will be managed by an experienced Service Supervisor from JDR Netherlands, who is releaved of his duty, to devote himself permanently setting up this new business unit.
