BEDFORD, CANADA – Pivotal Power Inc. has been awarded a $15 million contract by General Dynamics UK Ltd. to supply off-the-shelf Embedded Power Supplies for the UK Army’s new BOWMAN communication system.

Pivotal Power is responsible for the design and delivery of Embedded Power Supplies and Intelligent Battery Chargers to Computing Devices Canada, now General Dynamics Canada, as part of the Canadian Army’s IRIS program. “The company has enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with General Dynamics Canada and looks forward to expanding on that relationship through General Dynamics UK. This contract is a significant contributor to Pivotal’s growth and its focus on strengthening strategic relationships in the defence markets,” said Carlo Shimoon, President & CEO.
Pivotal Power is a privately owned company, located in Nova Scotia, Canada. The company has been in business for more than 20 years designing and manufacturing fully hardened power conversion equipment from 100 W to 20 KW for land, sea and air applications.
