Vector ProBoat is known for its very seaworthy, high-performance craft, built in aluminium and used for professional and recreational purposes. Vector offers a select combination of rugged, durable workboat finishes on an efficient deep-V hull to provide an outstanding level of performance and handling.
Vector Design
Petter Hakanson, one of Sweden’s most acknowledged designers is behind the creation of Vector boats. Petter’s hull designs and fast water jet propulsion craft expertise has promoted him to an industry authority.
Vector boats are based on the experience of a long line of successful designs for police, coastguard and military applications.
Vector design’s focus is directed at three fundamental properties: capability at sea, helm environment and boat speed. Ideally the boats should be built in aluminium since it is maintenance free, secure and lightweight.
Why Vector?
Vector ProBoat crafts have exceptional handling characteristics and offer reliable, high-performance for fast transport, high-speed patrol, and capabilities for extended season use.
Our deep V-hull’s long, sleek design provides exceptional rough sea capabilities offered in stern drive, outboard or for water jet propulsion.
We build boats with great flexibility and many opportunities to customise for your needs.
Hulls and structural components as well as mechanical and electrical systems have long-lasting design at their forefront, fitted with professional grade installations required in rough sea and Nordic weather.
Rough Sea Capabilities
Vector’s goal is to build Fast Transport boats of the highest standard, and this is achieved largely by our hull design. The narrow, deep V hull enables a smoother ride for its crew, and a full bodied bow offers additional displacement and security in harsh conditions.
The topsides are designed to keep the crew dry by deflecting sea spray.
Helm Environment
The helm position is important to us and whether sitting or standing, you should have comfortable access to controls and equipment. Shock mitigated seats for body support and generous panels for fitting of navigation electronic equipment, provides a high standard work environment for the driver and navigator.
Boat Speed
Vector boats are specifically made for speeds greater than 50 knots. However, the more interesting aspect is their ability to remain within a high cruising speed even in severe weather.

Vector 28 Wheelhouse features an agile deep V hull, designed and dimensioned for fast transport, patrol or advanced recreational use. The wheelhouse is rubber suspended for a noise and vibration free helm environment.
Professional shock mitigated seats for helmsman and navigator, seats or sofa bench for the passengers. A heavy duty foam filled collar provides protection for the boat and surrounding boats at boarding or berthing.
Available in versions with or without the forward cuddy cabin. Standard fitted with transom platform and dive ladder. Commercial grade double pole electrical system for extra durability.
Performance example: speed with two persons, 200L fuel, 2 x Suzuki DF300, 56 knots.
Vector 30 Wheelhouse has the same arrangement as Vector 28 but with twin diesel and water jet propulsion.
Vector 32 Wheelhouse is the same size hull as Vector 30 Wheelhouse but with outboard propulsion on engine bracket and an extended cabin for additional seats or equipment.
Vector 25 MidCab provides many of the functions of the larger Vector 28 with room in the wheelhouse for 4 shock mitigated seats. However at more cost efficient price, with a smaller hull and a single outboard.
Vector 23 is a centre console boat with a generous sized windscreen for protection against the Nordic wind chill.
Arrangements with an open working deck or a forward cuddy cabin with overnight capabilities, both serve as outstanding fast transport boats.
The forward cuddy cabin can also be used as a large dry stowage space.
Performance example: Speed with two persons, 200L fuel, Suzuki DF250, 53 knots.
