Cloudis has appointed Quebec based Navware Canada (Navware) as a distributor in North America for its CMPIC software application. CMPIC is used to schedule, route and manage cables through the design and installation process and is used widely in the shipbuilding and maritime sectors.
Cloudis’ sales and commercial director, Ian Barnes, says of the appointment: “We are delighted to be partnering with Navware to help develop our presence in the North American shipbuilding sector. They have a great deal of experience in the marketplace and have been representing the Ship Constructor software application for some years. At Cloudis we have developed methods to extract data from CAD to use in our CMPIC application. We can then offer the cable routing and management functionality that is required in demanding shipbuilding projects. We believe that Navware’s presence, and their ability to position CMPIC alongside other shipbuilding applications, will be of enormous benefit to companies in this sector and we look forward to a long and profitable relationship.”
Navware is delighted to be the North American distributor for Cloudis CMPIC software application. Navware is committed to the provision of best-of-breed software solutions and top quality consultation services that best meet client needs. “Production engineering of electrical system for the construction or refit of ship and offshore platform is a complex and demanding challenge. By bringing complementary functionalities to ShipConstructor, one of the world’s leading shipbuilding and offshore CAD/CAM systems, both softwares provide the ideal solution to cover all aspects of the entire cable design process,” says Pierre-Charles Drapeau, director of Navware Canada.
