DSIT Solutions Ltd has revealed that it has received another purchase for its AquaShield™Diver Detection Sonar (DDS) from Naftoport Oil Terminal.
Naftoport is Poland’s largest oil terminal, transhipping crude and refined oil products to Polish and German refineries. The scope of the order, including service and support, is over $1m.
Naftoport ordered its first AquaShield Diver Detection Sonar from DSIT in 2007, to protect its loading pier from underwater threats, and it has been using it since. Following Naftoport’s expansion plan, the company is using an additional loading pier and therefore decided to install another diver detection sonar covering the new pier.
DSIT’S Sales and Marketing vice president Dan Ben-Dov commented: “We are very proud to receive this second order from a distinguished and professional company like Naftoport.
“I think that there is no greater vote of confidence in our underwater security products than re-ordering a system after using it for ten years in water. We will continue to support Naftoport closely and to maintain their high level of satisfaction in DSIT’s systems.”
The two AquaShield DDS systems will be integrated into one comprehensive Harbor Surveillance Command and Control system that will guard all waterways leading to the terminal.
