Ocean Acoustic Developments (OAD) have been working on the next release of their sonar range prediction and global ocean information system, WADER. WADER V8.3 is the latest iteration in their 30-year history and will be previewed at Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI).
Updates include:
- A completely redesigned sonar editor that allows for easier sonar management
- A system reporting tool that can automatically save all operational input/output parameters to aid in post-mission reconstruction and analysis
- AS25 converter for uploading profiles into WADER
- Updated graphical user interface (GUI)
Visit OAD at DSEI stand H5-337, to find out more and see the latest developments. Team members will be available throughout DSEI (14 – 17 September, Excel, London, UK) to demonstrate new and existing features as well as answer questions relating to their sonar performance prediction packages.
