SENER (Shanghai) Systems Co Ltd has taken part in the 5th China Fishery Ship Equipment Technology and Purchase Summit, which was held in Guangzhou, China, on 7 July.
The event is organised annually by the Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (CSNAME).
This year the summit focused on a broad range of topics relating to the world of fishing. Notable examples included the latest policies on deep-sea fishing, trends in the development of fishing craft, the design and construction of a new generation of fishing boats, and innovative designs for large trawler vessels.
SENER was invited to participate in the summit by CSNAME’s No 704 Research Institute, and did so with a conference presented by SENER engineer Zhi Jiang titled ‘Smart Ship Design System’ on the application of this system to fishing vessels.
