The US Navy has awarded a $21m contract to national security solutions provider, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Washington division.

Under the five-year contract Kratos will provide technical support for the Undersea Warfare Training Ranges at Pearl Harbor and the Fleet Test and Evaluation Centre at Barber’s Point.
Support from the company also includes fleet operations, test and evaluation, magnetic silencing facility operational and maintenance, technical analysis and information technology.
Kratos president and chief executive officer Eric Demarco said that their defence engineering solutions group was dedicated to providing range support operations including C4ISR services and solutions.
He added that the NUWC support programme was a focus area for them including weapon systems support and sustainment, information technology and assurance and cybersecurity.
