Under the contract, announced at this year’s Defence Systems & Equipment International in London, the company will supply integrated bridge systems based on its new VisionMaster FT navigation technology, including VisionMaster FT consoles, an electronic chart display and information system.
In addition, the company will supply mk27F fibre-optic attitude and heading reference systems, navigation radars, heading and speed sensors, echosounder, steering control, mission data recorder and other subsystems.
The company’s Sperry Marine business unit of Charlottesville in Virginia has received the contract to supply the systems to four patrol vessels, with options for six additional vessels.
