The LBT is designed to protect strike aircraft, ships, and ground troops by interrupting enemy radars and communications.
The transmitter will also be carried on US Navy EA-6B Prowler and EA-18G aircraft and marine corps EA-6B aircraft, and used for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The company was awarded a $46m contract in April 2010 from Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) for a third lot of the LBT Antenna Group bringing the total number of units to 217 of the 315 required transmitters.
The low-band transmitter-antenna group (LBT-AG) has been in production since 2005.
