With its payload control architecture and real time autonomy engine, SeeByte’s software will assist unmanned systems in planning and implementing renowned behaviour patterns that speed up and optimise single vehicle and multi-vehicle operations.
According to the company, SeeTrack Neptune decides what to do based on theoperator’s plan.
Under the contract, the software will be integrated into the DRDC’s four-metre general purpose SeaRobotics USV-2600, enabling it to act as a relay to an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) crew.
The integration marks a vital move required in a bid to execute over-the-horizon UUV operations.
This software can also be run by integrating it with SeeTrack Military, which has been assisting worldwide explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and Clearance Divers in managing their off-board assets, through dangerous and demanding operations.
The DRDC’s highly manoeuvrable SeaRobotics USV-2600 is equipped with high efficiency hulls and can be deployed for a range of applications.
