Under the single-award contract, SAIC will provide operational and tactical support related to fleet training policy, curriculum development and implementation to USFF and associated fleet commands.
Additionally, the company will also support the development, execution, assessment and reconstruction of simulation-driven training events and exercises.
SAIC senior vice-president and business unit general manager Tom Baybrook said the operational and tactical support will enable the fleet to support war-fighters during pre-deployment planning and training.
The contract is valued at more than $42m if all options are exercised, with a six-month period of performance and four one-month options.
